How to remote control someone elses desktop
- Ask the other person to download and run Teamviewer (http://www.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS.exe for Windows or http://www.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS.dmg on Mac). After they run it, Teamviewer will display their ID and Password on their screen. You need to get the ID and Password
- Run the Teamviewer Support Utility from (http://www.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer_Setup.exe for Windows or http://www.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewer.dmg for Mac) and enter the provided ID in the Create Session section, select Remote Support and click on Connect to Partner. Teamviewer establishes a connection and prompts for the password which has to be entered at this stage. After successful authentication you will be able to view the desktop of the other person.
- If you need to control their desktop you need to tell the other person to click on Allow Remote Control.
