Troubleshooting Internet Explorer 6

  1. Save all your work and close ALL your IE windows
  2. Open up a new IE window
  3. Click on Tools > Internet Options
    Note: If you cannot view the TOOLS option then you can click on the ALT key while in Internet Explorer to display it

  4. Click on General and then click on Delete Files in the Temporary Internet Files section

  5. Select the "Delete all Offline Content" option and Click on OK

  6. Restart Internet Explorer

If the problem with the browser still persists, follow the below instructions to reset your browser to factory settings:

  1. Save all your work and close ALL your IE windows
  2. Open up a new IE window
  3. Click on Tools > Internet Options

  4. Click on Programs Tab
  5. Click on Reset IE settings
  6. Deselect reset home page and click on YES

  7. Click on OK
  8. Restart Internet Explorer
